The paint has dried, the kitchenaid is polished and pasta machines have arrived –the Rosa Cookery School is ready to receive its first guests. I have been teaching students going into the food industry for many years but I meet so many people of all ages who would just love to learn to cook and enjoy preparing food rather than it being a chore. In Italy most people learn to cook in the family kitchen, tasting and learning as they go along – I hope to recreate that here in my home in Sutton Coldfield.
Classes will be small and friendly, in a family kitchen not in a daunting classroom. We will start with coffee and homemade cake and learn through watching, tasting and making. Sharing lunch together will be part of the day and there will be lots of lovely things to take home. I live close to the train station – perhaps you would like to leave the car at home and relax with a glass of wine.
